I before WE

She was a new comer in the school,

He - a studious child

Both unaware of the love

Between them,

Which was tender and mild.

 So, what was next ??

Looking from the corner of the eye,

But none had the guts to say hii !!

Same grade but different divisions,

Seemed like a destiny derision.

Recess bell rang,

Coming out with their gangs,

Antsy eyes finding the paramour.

Their eyes met,

Not feeling fret,

Taking a quick glance,

They turned their heads.

The glance proved enough,

For sleeping in the bed.

But both oblivious of the new found pash,

Consoled themselves to forget and smash.

Years later meeting at the reunion,

He had grown into a young, charismatic man,

And she into a vivacious and dynamic juvenile lady.

Ready for revelation of their feelings,

But the fear of rejection kept them killing.

They awaited this moment,

Since they had graduated,

But their minds hesitated,

However hearts insisted.

Their puppy love no longer existed,

But had turned into sheer love

Pure and perfect like a dove.

Everything seemed like a pother,

Until they came in front of each other

Which seemed to be bliss.

However this time fate didn't proved its vis (power)

Fear of rejection took over both,
But this time it was poisoned by
The big fat EGO.

For the mere fear of rejection,
Poisoned with ego,
Lead to impossible feeling projection.
The "WE" was hence told,
Goodbye by the capital "I".
